In the original film, the Emmet builder, with limited knowledge of construction, is confused by a “MasterBuilder” and they introduce him as boss in a new and important construction mission of the Lego city. In addition, that mission has the purpose of that an evil one destroys the city, reason why all the inhabitants of Lego have to unite their forces to end with so dangerous threat.
