The New Mutants, conceived by Chris Claremont and Bob McLeod, first appeared in a comic in 1982. The comics are about a group of teenage mutants who are a hero in training. The comic series was filled with untouched mutants, complemented with more favorite mutants like Cannonball, Cypher, Magik, Wolfsbane and Dani Moonstar. The best-known mutants also appeared, such as Professor Xavier, Magneto, Kitty Pryde and Deadpool.
