Dave (Dave Johns, Me, Daniel Blake) and Fern (Alison Steadman, Secrets and Lies) are two strangers of a certain age who have suffered from life circumstances. They meet while walking their dogs and, over twenty-three walks, a romance blooms between the two. But neither Dave nor Fern have been entirely honest with each other and their futures may be jeopardized by the secrets they have been keeping.
