Twelve strangers wake up in a forest clearing with many unanswered questions. Where are they? How did they get there? And why or for what purpose are they there? The answer to all those questions is: Hunting, a macabre game devised by members of the global elites, who gather at a remote point or a house to hunt humans for fun. They are the prey; the rest, the hunters. But everything is about to change when Crystal (Betty Gilpin), one of the young women who is among the “hunted”, turns the game around and begins to tip the balance in her favor. One by one, he begins to get rid of the members of the elite who intend to hunt them down, with the intention of reaching the mysterious woman (Hilary Swank) who pulls the strings of all that.
