Baker Kill is a fishing boat captain who drives excursions from a small tropical enclave called Plymouth Island. His quiet life is shattered when his ex-wife Karen finds him and asks for help desperately. He begs her to save her and her young son from his new and violent husband by taking him to the sea on a trip and throwing him to the sharks. Karen pushes Dill to a life she had tried to forget as her world plunges into a new reality where not everything is as it seems.
